Be a Writer! Write a Review!

How it Works:

Show off your writing skills by working with your parents to post a review of Mister Lemur’s Train of Thought or It Will Take a Lot of Us to Lift a Hippopotamus to Goodreads.com or Amazon.com (or both)! Reviews should be honest (they can be positive or negative) and we ask that you write at least three sentences so others can learn from your opinion.

How to Post a Review: (You will need your parent to help you with these steps!)

Posting  Goodreads Review:

If you already have a Goodreads account: log on, search for “Mister Lemur,” and skip to Step 6 below

If you do not have a Goodreads account, follow these 10 easy steps…

  1. Go to www.goodreads.com
  2. Sign in through Facebook, Twitter or Google, or create a new account.
  3. Create a password.
  4. When asked about finding friends, click “Skip this step.” You can still add friends later!
  5. Click “Children’s” (in the top right of the next screen) then click “Continue.”
  6. Type “Mister Lemur” into the “Books, authors” search area (in the upper left).
  7. Click on one of the Mister Lemur titles.
  8. You will then see images of the covers of two Mister Lemur books. “Mouse over” one of the books and an information box will app. Click on the title of the first book you want to review.
  9. Once on the book’s page, you will see a section towards the middle-bottom called “My Review.” Rate the book between one and five stars (we hope you like it!), then click on “add a review” to write your review. When you are finished, click “Save” at the bottom.
  10. Congratulations! You have posted your review.

While you are there, look around for other books you might enjoy, and don’t forget to go back and add friends! When you are done, consider posting your review on Amazon as well!

Posting an Amazon Review:

You must have an active Amazon account to write a review. You do not need to have purchased the Mister Lemur item through Amazon to write a review of the item.

  1. Go to Amazon.com and log in.
  2. Search for “Mister Lemur.”
  3. Click on the title of the Mister Lemur book you want to review.
  4. On the next page, right below the title, it will say “___ customer reviews.” Click on that.
  5. Then click on the “Create Your Own Review” button.
